Decan ( n-decan ) er en organisk forbindelse af alkanklassen med en lineær struktur af kulstofskelettet.
Under normale forhold er stoffet en farveløs brændbar væske med en densitet på 0,73 g/ml, uopløselig i vand, men meget opløselig i upolære opløsningsmidler og ethanol.
Isomere dekaner findes i benzinfraktioner såvel som i lette petroleum til subsonisk luftfart. Forgrenede dekaner er mest ønskelige i disse brændstoffer.
Decan har 75 strukturelle isomerer (136 inklusive stereoisomerer ), der næsten kemisk ligner n-decan.
