Kallistos II Xanthopoulos ( græsk: Κάλλιστος Β΄ Ξανθόπουλος , d. 1397) er patriarken af Konstantinopel (1397), en byzantinsk hesychastisk munk , som er bror til hesychast-munken I.

Kallistos og Ignatius Xanthopoulos blev født i Konstantinopel. Begge levede et eremitliv i Pantokrator-klostret på Athos -bjerget , indtil de grundlagde et lille klostersamfund og derefter klostret Xanthopoulos ( Μονή τών Ξανθοπούλων ). Sankt Simeon af Thessalonika [1] kendte Kallistos og Ignatius Xanthopulov tæt .

Den 17. maj 1397 blev Kallistos Xanthopoulos valgt til patriark [2] . Imidlertid varede hans patriarkat, som faldt på det fjerde år af belejringen af Konstantinopel af sultan Bayezid I , kun tre måneder på grund af hans forestående død.

Kallistos Xanthopoulos' hovedværk er essayet "Instruktion til de tavse, i hundrede kapitler", skrevet i samarbejde med hans bror Ignatius [3] .

Den ortodokse kirke fejrer hans minde den 22. november.
