Viscount Rochdale

Viscount Rochdale , af Rochdale i County of Lancashire  , er en titel i Peerage i Det Forenede Kongerige . Det blev skabt den 20. januar 1960 for John Kemp, 2. Baron Rochdale (1906-1993). Han var formand for uldfremstillingsfirmaet Kelsall & Kemp Ltd og tidligere præsident for National Union of Industrialists og leder af BBC .

Den 14. februar 1913 blev titlen Baron Rochdale, af Rochdale i Peerage of Det Forenede Kongerige , skabt for George Kemp (1866-1945), far til den fremtidige Viscount Rochdale. Han var formand for Kelsall & Kemp Ltd, brigadegeneral i den britiske hær, medlem af British House of Commons for South East Lancashire (1895-1906) og North West Manchester (1910-1912).

Fra 2015 var titelindehaveren Jonathan Hugo Durival Kemp, 3. Viscount Rochdale (født 1961), barnebarn af 1. Viscount, som efterfulgte sin far i 2015 .
