Historie

Rising Star Games blev grundlagt den 10. juli 2004 af Martin Defries som et joint venture mellem Bergsala Holding og det japanske udgiver Marvelous Entertainment [1] [2] [3] . Marvelous Entertainment solgte sin 50%-andel i Rising Star Games til en anden japansk udgiver, Intergrow, i januar 2010 [4] . Rising Star Games åbnede et kontor i USA i Californien i januar 2012 [5] . Thunderful købte Rising Star Games fra Bergsala Holding i juli 2018, hvorefter Ed Valiente blev administrerende direktør og Defries forlod virksomheden [6] .
