Pilumnoidea (lat.) er en overfamilie af krabber [1] [2] , hvis repræsentanter tidligere indgik i underfamilien Xanthoidea [3] . De tre familier er forenet af følgende træk: den frie artikulation af alle segmenter af den mandlige mave og formen af gonopoderne [2] . De tidligste fossiler tildelt denne gruppe går tilbage til eocæn - epoken [4] .
