Ceroplastes toddaliae   (lat.)  er en art af hemipteran-insekter - coccider af slægten Ceroplastes fra familien af ​​falsk skælinsekter ( Coccidae ) [1] [2] .

Beskrivelse

Arten blev første gang beskrevet i 1931 af entomolog WJ Hall ( Hall, WJ ) [1] [5] [6] [7] . Taxonet Ceroplastes toddaliae indgår i slægten Ceroplastes Gray, 1828 (stammen Ceroplastini ) sammen med arterne Ceroplastes brevicauda , Ceroplastes eugeniae , Ceroplastes uapacae , Ceroplastes spicatus , Ceroplastes helichrysi , Ceroplastes longicaud , Ceroplastes longicaud , Ceroplastes longicaud [ 8] .
