Ceroplastes royenae (lat.) er en art af hemipteran-insekter - coccider af slægten Ceroplastes fra familien af falsk skjoldlusinsekter ( Coccidae ) [1] [2] .

Beskrivelse
De lever af plantesaft fra familier som Ebenaceae : Diospyros lycioides ; Royena pallens ; Euphorbiaceae : Pseudolachnostylus maprounifolia . Arten blev første gang beskrevet i 1931 af entomolog WJ Hall ( Hall, WJ ) [1] [5] [6] [7] . Taxonet Ceroplastes royenae indgår i slægten Ceroplastes Gray, 1828 (stammen Ceroplastini ) sammen med arterne Ceroplastes brevicauda , Ceroplastes eugeniae , Ceroplastes uapacae , Ceroplastes spicatus , Ceroplastes helichryssi longicauda , Ceroplastes , Ceroplastes, Ceroplastes , Ceroplastes og andre .
