Getaria ( spansk  Guetaria , baskisk Getaria ) er en lokalitet og kommune i Spanien , en del af provinsen Gipuzkoa som en del af det autonome område i Baskerlandet . Kommunen er en del af regionen (comarca) Urola-Costa . Det optager et areal på 10,6 km². Befolkning - 2.675 personer (for 2010 ). Provinshovedstaden ligger 24 km væk.

En af de berømte indfødte i byen er Juan Sebastian Elcano , et medlem af Magellan -ekspeditionen , som efter sin død formåede at bringe det eneste overlevende skib fra flotillen til Spanien, og dermed fuldførte den første jorden rundt-tur . Den berømte modedesigner Cristobal Balenciaga er også fra Getaria .
