Altea

Altea ( spansk  Altea , kat. Altea ) er en kommune i Spanien , en del af provinsen Alicante som en del af den autonome region Valencia . Kommunen er en del af distriktet (comarca) Marina Baja . Det optager et areal på 35,30 km². Befolkning - 24.006 personer (for 2010 ).

Ferie

I februar fejres Mig Any ( Mig Any ) "halvår" med en traditionel parade og konfrontation mellem maurerne og kristne til ære for San Blas . "Porquet Festival" ( Festa del porquet ) afholdt på Plaza de la Iglesia den tredje lørdag i måneden, samt Cristo de la Salud i Altea la Vella.

I juni finder festligheder til ære for den hellige treenighed sted i Bellaguarda-området, Sant Antoni i Cap Blanche-området og Sant Joan i Fornet -området ( den gamle bydel). Under disse festligheder afholdes den berømte "Planta de l'Arbre", som kan dateres tilbage til det 17. århundrede, den mest traditionelle del af denne antikke festival forbundet med de førkristne ritualer om sommersolhverv og frugtbarhed. I 2018 beskyttede Generalitat of Valencia denne festival som et objekt af lokal betydning.

I juli finder sømandsfestivalen sted i fiskeridistriktet til ære for San Pedro og Virgen del Carmen, derefter San Jaime i Cap Blanche og Santa Ana i Altea la Vella.

August begynder med festen San Roque i L'Orta-området, efterfulgt af festen San Lorenzo den anden lørdag i august, hvor mere end halvtreds tusinde mennesker samles og kulminerer i fyrværkeri ; "Castell de l'Olha" er erklæret en turistattraktion, da det er et af de få fyrværkeri, der udelukkende skydes op fra havet og også er et vartegn for pyroteknik.
