Privatliv
Fra en curlingfamilie. Hans far er Christoph Schwaller , og hans onkel, hans fars bror, Andreas Schwaller [3] ; begge er velkendte schweiziske curlere, der har spillet på det samme hold i mange år (både som klubhold og som det schweiziske herrehold ), herunder ved Vinter-OL 2002 , hvor det schweiziske hold vandt bronzemedaljer.
Han begyndte at curling i 2007 som 12-årig. [2]
