Karakteristika
U Bootes er en rød kæmpe , en pulserende semi-regulær variabel stjerne af typen SRB (SRB) [11] [12] [13] af spektral type M4e [10] [14] [15] . Den effektive temperatur er omkring 3306 K [1] .
