Tuska Open Air Metal Festival eller blot Tuska (oversat fra finsk - "smerte, lidelse"; kommer fra russisk længsel [1] ) er en af de største musikfestivaler, dedikeret hovedsageligt til metalmusik . Festivalen blev afholdt fra 1998 til 2010 i Kaisaniemi- parken ( fin. Kaisaniemi ) i centrum af Helsinki ( Finland ), siden 2011 har den været afholdt på det mere rummelige Suvilahti-sted, da den forrige ikke kunne rumme alle besøgende med ordentlig komfort. Åbner normalt i begyndelsen eller midten af juli hvert år. For første gang blev festivalen afholdt i 1998 og hvert år blev den større og større. I 2006 blev festivalen udsolgt, og over 33.000 metalhoveder kom for at se 32 bands optræde. Festivalens hovedarrangør er Finnish Metal Events. ( http://www.finnishmetalevents.fi/en/ )
Forestillinger finder sted på tre scener: Inferno , EMP (kaldet Sue indtil 2011) og Radio Rock (hovedscenen, indtil 2007 hed Radio City ). I 2011 blev en fjerde klubscene tilføjet.

Animals as Leaders - optræden blev aflyst på grund af, at bandet manglede deres fly. De er blevet erstattet af Barren Earth . Optræden af Lamb of God blev aflyst på grund af det faktum, at bandets vokalist blev arresteret i Tjekkiet på grund af mistanke om at have dræbt en fan for 2 år siden ( https://web.archive.org/web/20120615075523/http:/ /www.tuska-festival.fi/en/?page=index ). De er blevet erstattet af Finntroll .
Festivalen blev afholdt fra 27. til 30. juni og samlede omkring 27 tusinde tilskuere [2] . Medlemmer omfatter Dimmu Borgir , Children of Bodom og Anthrax .
