NGC 3705 (andre betegnelser - UGC 6498 , MCG 2-29-39 , ZWG 67.93 , IRAS11275+0933 , PGC 35440 ) er en spiralgalakse i stjernebilledet Løven . Opdaget af William Herschel i 1784 [5] .
Ved afstande mindre end 20 buesekunder fra centrum af galaksen observeres ingen emission i H-alfa- linjen ; i andre områder blev radiale hastigheder i galaksen målt langs denne linje. Ved afstande større end 80 buesekunder er galaksens rotationskurve flad. Afstanden til galaksen er 18,5 megaparsec , så 1 buesekund i galaksen svarer til en lineær afstand på 90 kiloparsecs [6] . På billeder af støv i NGC 3705 har det en ordnet spiralformet struktur [7] .
