APML (fra engelsk. Attention Profiling Mark-up Language [2] - " attention markup language ") er et XML-baseret opmærkningssprog til indsamling af data om brugerens interesser og antipatier.
APML giver folk mulighed for at dele deres personlige opmærksomhed på samme måde, som OPML tillader, at abonnementer udveksles mellem nyhedslæsere. Ideen med APML er at komprimere alle former for opmærksomhedsobjekter til et praktisk filformat, der indeholder en beskrivelse af brugerens interesser.
APML-arbejdsgruppen vedligeholder og forbedrer APML-specifikationerne. APML Working Group blev grundlagt af Chris Saad og Ashley Angel. [3] Arbejdsgruppen er offentligt tilgængelig og fremmer aktivt opmærksomhedsbevægelsen. Arbejdsgruppen følger også principperne for Media 2.0 Best Practices.
