Samsung Exýnos er en familie af ARM - mikroprocessorer fra Samsung Electronics , som er et system på en chip .
Samsung har en lang historie med at lave systemer-på-en-chip til både sine egne enheder og andre producenter.
I 2010 introducerede Samsung S5PC110, dengang kaldet Hummingbird ("hummingbird"), og nu Exynos 3110, i Galaxy S -telefonen .
I 2011 introducerede Samsung Exynos 4210 i Galaxy S II -telefonen . I august 2011 leverede Samsung en driver til Linux-kernen , og den blev inkluderet i 3.2-kernen [1] [2] .
I efteråret 2011 introducerede Samsung Exynos 4212 med øgede clockhastigheder og reduceret strømforbrug .
Samsung Exynos 4 Quad (4412) er Samsungs første 4-core processor introduceret i 2012.
Samsung Exynos 5 Octa (5410) er den første implementering af den store.LILLE- arkitektur i branchen, præsenteret af selskabet i begyndelsen af 2013 [3] .
Samsung Exynos 7 Octa (5433) er Samsungs første 64-bit processor introduceret i 2014.
Samsung Exynos 9 Series (9810) var den mest avancerede mikroprocessor, som Samsung udgav i 2018.
Samsung Exynos 9 Series (9820) var den mest avancerede mikroprocessor, som Samsung udgav i 2019.
Samsung Exynos 9 Series (990) er i øjeblikket den mest avancerede mikroprocessor, som Samsung har udgivet i 2020.
