Ferdinand Philip Maria August Raphael af Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha og Kochary ( 28. marts 1844 [1] , Paris - 3. juli 1921 , Coburg , Bayern ) - var den anden søn af prins Augustus af Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha og Clementine af Orleans , barnebarn af kong Louis Philippe af Frankrig I , ældre bror til den bulgarske zar Ferdinand I.
Familie
I Bruxelles , den 4. maj 1875, giftede Philippe sig med Louise-Marie, prinsesse af Belgien , hans anden kusine.
Ægteskabet endte med skilsmisse den 15. januar 1906 på grund af, at Louise havde haft udenomsægteskabelige forhold i mange år.
De fik to børn:
- Leopold Clement Philip August Maria (19. juli 1878 - 27. april 1916)
- Dorothea Maria Henriette Augusta Louise (30. april 1881 – 21. januar 1967), gift 2. august 1898 Ernst Günther , hertug af Slesvig-Holsten.
