Plantainblomst (også psylliostachys ; lat. Psylliostachys ) er en slægt af urteagtige planter i familien Plumbaginaceae .
Botanisk beskrivelse
Enårige urteagtige planter. Bladene er enkle, bløde, pinnatipartite eller hele, samlet i en basal roset .
Blomsterne er hvide eller lyserøde, samlet i cylindriske pigge eller panik . Dækblade 2. Blomsterbæger næsten rørformet eller tragtformet, lem femfliget. Krone sympetal , næsten tragtformet, femfliget lem. Frugten er aflang-ægovale eller næsten lineær.
