Constance of Aragon (Señora de Villena)

Constance of Aragon (1238-1275) - datter af kong Jaime I af Aragon og hans anden kone Yolanda af Ungarn [2] . Gift med Infanta af Castilla.

I 1260 giftede Constance sig i Soria med Infante Manuel af Castilien , den anden søn af Ferdinand III og hans første kone, Elisabeth af Hohenstaufen . Parret havde mindst to børn:

• Alfonso Manuel (1260-1275)
• Violanta Manuel (1265-1314), 2. herre over Elche , Elda , Novelda og Medellin. Mand siden 1287, Infante Afonso af Portugal (1263-1313), søn af kong Afonso III af Portugal og Beatrice af Castilien .

Constance døde i 1269 og efterlod sin mand som enkemand. I 1274/5 giftede han sig med Beatrice af Savoyen . Deres søn var Juan Manuel , som efterfulgte sin far, da Constances søn, Alfonso, døde ung.
