Hollandsk elm ( lat. Ulmus ×hollandica ) er en træart af slægten Elm ( Ulmus ) af familien Elm ( Ulmaceae ) . Det er en naturlig hybrid mellem den uslebne elm Ulmus glabra og den lille elm Ulmus minor , som er almindeligt forekommende i hele Europa, hvor udbredelsen af forældrearterne overlapper hinanden.
Bemærkelsesværdige træer
Stor elm i lunden ved Magdalen College, Oxfordfotograferet af Henry Taunti 1900 [2] , længe antaget at være en elm før Henry John Elwes identificerede den som en hybrid, var i et stykke tid den største elm kendt i Storbritannien, før den blev revet ned i 1911.

Den var 44 meter høj, stammens omkreds i brysthøjde var 2,6 meter i diameter [3] og var cirka 81 kubikmeter (2900 kubikfod) tømmer [4] .
Et andet træ i nærheden, beskrevet af Elvis som 40 meter højt og 7 meter i omkreds i 1912 [3] blev bekræftet af Helen Bancroft i en Gardener's Chronicle-artikel i 1934 som en hybrid [5] , det blev formeret af Heybrooki 1958 og dyrket på Baarn Elm Research Institute som en P41-klon. Træet overlevede indtil 1960'erne.
