Roche, Jean-Charles

Jean-Charles Rochet ( fr.  Jean-Charles Rochet ; født 1. november 1957 , Bordeaux , Frankrig ) er en fransk økonom , professor i økonomi, præsident for Econometric Society i 2012.

Biografi

Jean blev født den 1. november 1957 i Bordeaux , Frankrig [3] .

I 1976-1980 studerede han ved Higher Normal School i Paris , og i 1986 blev han tildelt en doktorgrad ( Ph.D. ) i matematisk økonomi ved universitetet i Paris [4] .

Han begyndte sin lærerkarriere som adjunkt ved universitetet i Paris i 1980-1982, arbejdede derefter som CORE-forsker i Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgien i 1982-1983, forskningsassistent i laboratoriet for økonometri ved Ecole Polytechnique i Paris i 1983-1984, lektor ved universitetet i Paris 1984-1986. I 1986 blev han tildelt stillingen som fuld professor ved National School of Statistics and Economic Management (ENSAE) i 1986-1988, derefter var han professor i matematik og økonomi ved University of Toulouse 1 i 1988-2012 [ 4] .

Jean-Charles Rocher er i øjeblikket forskningsdirektør ved IDEI ved Toulouse School of Economics siden 1992, professor i bankvirksomhed ved fakultetet for bank og finans og afdelingsleder ved det schweiziske finansinstitut ved University of Zürich siden 2010 [4] .

Han var medredaktør af Annals of Finance 2005-2009, assisterende redaktør af Journal of Finance 2012-2017, Econometrica 1990-2002, Journal of Mathematical Economics 1985-1993 [4] .
